As we move from the balmy days of autumn to snow, seemingly overnight, we welcome the Advent season here at the Cathedral. For this year’s Advent Giving Tree, we are grateful to again be able to help children and seniors through our outreach to schools and senior homes.

Due to many staff changes at the schools this year, we’ll conduct the event mostly via online donations

and through the offertory at Mass that will be used to purchase gift cards for families through the schools at Metro Catholic and St. Aloysius. We’ll also gather cleaning supplies and toiletry items here at the Cathedral to deliver to our seniors in need.

Take an envelope or tag from the back wall of the Cathedral from Saturday, November 26 through Sunday, December 11. Giving Tree envelopes with cash or checks may be put in the collection basket.

Please return all envelopes and purchases to the Cathedral

no later than Sunday, December 11th.

Delivery day will be Monday, December 12. We thank you, as always, for your generosity, which gives so much hope and happiness to those in our community who are most in need.

It is truly an honor to have worked with you all for so many years with this blessed effort.
