    Safety Guidelines During
    the COVID-19 Crisis

Overview, Before, During, & After Mass

    • If you feel sick, or have a fever, stay at home.
    • Bring and wear a mask or other face covering to wear while in the Cathedral and during the celebration of Mass, except for the brief moment of receiving Holy Communion.
    • Wash or sterilize your hands upon entering the church. Bring your own hand sanitizer as supplies are unlikely to last.
    • Maintain a 6' Social Distance from other groups in the church. We will only be using every third pew. Seat your family group at least 6’ away from other groups.
    • Do not sing. Congregational singing is discouraged as it can contribute to the spread of the virus.

    Dispensation
The bishops of Ohio dispense the Catholic faithful in Ohio from the obligation of attending Sunday Mass during the COVID-19 crisis.
