Summary of the Parish Pastoral Council Meeting

Present: Carolyn Apperson-Hansen, Chet Brian, John Champ, Jeff Clark, Fr. Ed Estok
Discussion Items:
• Minutes from 2/14 meeting were approved
•A suggestion was made and approved to include in the minutes, the names of those assigned to follow up on topics. The minutes could then serve as a reminder to both the individual and the Council.
•Participation in Lenten Events
o Bishop Lennon’s talk on the Triduum
o Marriage Evening of Reflection
•Review of Comment Cards which have been received and are being followed up on by PPC for additional details and consideration
o Form a Women’s Group for social fellowship and learning – Liz Arnold
o Sunday School for Children ages 3 to 13 - Carolyn
Learning and Enrichment:
• Bishop Lennon’s Article on Marriage
o We are not being “overwhelmed” with teaching from the pulpit, perhaps not hearing enough
o More Bulletin items might be considered
o World Marriage Day
o Marriage Ministry

Agenda for Next Meeting: April 10th
• Learning/Enrichment – Continue discussion of the article from Bishop Lennon on Marriage – talk about the “how to’s”
