Summary of Pastoral Council Meeting
February 14, 2008

• Town Hall Meeting – Favorable feedback from those in attendance
with suggestions that it be repeated – This will be considered for repeat
in the Fall
• Topics raised at the Town Hall Meeting & PPC discussion points
• Parish Ministries • there is interest by parishioners to be kept up to
date on the needs & activities of the various ministries • A bulletin
insert was suggested. • make the MLC Newsletter available to the
parish with hardcopy in the church & perhaps send it electronically to
e-mail addresses.
• Clustering • More information and updates on the clustering process
desired
• Expand Eucharistic Adoration
• Stations of the Cross - try an evening session next year
• Better publicize the ministries of the Cathedral in the UB?
• Suggestions for Adult Education Topics - Eucharistic Topics,
Liturgical Topics
• Diversity of the parish • expand on that
• Young Adult Ministry • help integrate them into existing Ministries
• Comment Cards are being received and followed up on for additional
details and consideration
• Form a Women's Group for social fellowship and learning
• Suggestion for modifying weekday confession schedule
• Support for the work of PPC and Cathedral Staff and Ministries
• Access to water in the vestibule
• Repair of the clocks at the back of the church
• Support for recovering Catholics
