The Cathedra - The Bishop’s chair, known as a cathedra, is the reason that the Bishop’s church is called a cathedral. It serves as a symbol of the union of the local church with the Pope.

Above the chair is the Coat of Arms of Bishop Richard G. Lennon, the present Bishop of Cleveland.
