A central doctrine of the Catholic Faith is symbolized in the three arches of the entrance the Three Persons of the Blessed Trinity. The center door symbolizes the Father, the north door the Son, and the south door the Holy Spirit. Made of oak, the three double doors have a total of sixty bronze panels, each embossed with a cross or other symbol. The interior side of the three doors leading from the vestibule into the church proper are arched with three phrases from the “Gloria”: “Laudamus Te”; “Benedicimus Te”; “Adoramus Te” - meaning “We Praise Thee”; “We Bless Thee”; “We Adore Thee”.
