The Bishop Cosgrove Center

The Bishop Cosgrove Center is located at East 18th & Superior Avenue. The Cathedral has formed a “Church in the City” partnership with the Cosgrove Center in helping to meet the needs of downtown’s many needy people. The facility feeds the hungry, provides showers and social services to the homeless and much more. The Cathedral’s Social Concerns Committee is working to develop even more ways in which the Cathedral can collaborate with the Cosgrove Center to help serves our city neediest people. If you are interested in helping, please contact Sr. Marie Gillich by calling 216-771-6666, ext 5620 or by email at mgillich@dioceseofcleveland.org.

The Cosgrove Center also offers a wide variety of opportunities to volunteer: preparing & serving breakfast and lunch, gardening, literacy programs, stocking pantry shelves, and packing food bags. Any specialized service, such as help in resume writing, is also welcome. Call 216-781-8262 for details.
