Liturgical Ministry

Liturgical Minister’s Schedule for the Month

Becoming a Liturgical Minister

All those wishing to be Liturgical Ministers should be fully initiated adults in good standing with the Catholic Church.

Lector - Proclaim God’s saving love through the reading of Sacred Scripture at weekend and weekday liturgies.  If you are interested, please contact Mary Lou Ozimek at 216-696-6525 ext. 4070 or MOzimek@catholiccommunity.org.

Server - Those 10-years old and older are invited to assist at Mass as acolytes on either weekday or weekend Masses.  The only requirement is a devotion to the liturgy and a commitment to serve. Training will be provided.  Contact Gerard D’Souza 216-228-6715 or at immigration_lawyer@yahoo.com.

Usher - Ushers greet and facilitate the assembly with a welcoming attitude and assist in varied ways during the celebration of the Mass usually present for the same Mass each week. Contact Chet Brian at cbrian1@ameritech.net or at the parish office 216-771-6666, Ext 4700

Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharistic - After receiving Diocesan training, these members of the community minister the Body and Blood of Christ to the assembly at Mass.   They may also carry the Eucharist to the homebound and they serve as greeters at the Sunday Mass.  Contact Ronald Sterbank at rsterbank@centurytel.net.
